Yamagata University has been conducting a research challenge of "higher-order structure control and destruction behavior analysis by the molding process to achieve a tough polymer".
The purpose of this research is to develop the strength of the polymer materials, the hierarchical structure regarding relevant from the primary structure is understood, and conformation guidelines for material design, the design of desired structure of tough polymeric materials.
In research and development, molecular structure, relaxation, viscoelasticity, the stability of the plastic deformation, and tough material fibrils strength as a characteristic value have been designed. Moreover, composite material from the viewpoint of higher-order structure is controlled by the forming method.
